Schools Guide

Remember after you do your thorough research it's also beneficial to ask your friends and acquaintances, who have a similar vision as you, about schools and surrounding communities.

Try not to base your decision on a single criterion or on the perspective of one website/person.

Secondary learning choices program

Regional Learning Choices Programs offered by the Peel District School Board empower students by providing them with opportunities to develop and explore skills in a particular area of interest. Regional programs are open to all students who meet the criteria for acceptance.

Susi Homes

Susi is a realtor in the areas of Mississauga, Oakville/Burlington and Etobicoke .

She knows how to sell a home quickly and for top dollar, and she has the stats to back this up. And, obviously, she’s become a premier authority on schools, as the majority of her clients are young families seeking the best for their children.

In her website you can view the demographics of each area; the education of parents, religion and ethnicities...etc.

Routine school immunizations

Record your children's immunization in the link on the right. You may also revise your translated records from Sudan, with your family doctor before booking any appointments and recording the immunizations. The family doctor will confirm to you if there are any missing doses your child needs.

We Welcome the World centers

To welcome your family to Peel, the Peel District School Board has three Welcome Centres, in Brampton, Malton, and Mississauga. Funded by the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the Welcome centres are open Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., all year round, by appointment, at the following three locations. There is no fee for registration.

They are located at: 2021 Dundas Street West, Mississauga (located at Erindale Secondary School)
